Steelwork Stage Completed for Rhyl High School
22nd May 2015
The completion of the steelwork stage at the Rhyl New School was celebrated on Friday 22nd May by pupils at Rhyl High School and Ysgol Tir Morfa. The final beams were inserted into the new building by EvadX operatives on Friday morning and to commemorate this last piece in the jigsaw, the last beams were personalised by being signed by pupils from Rhyl High School and Ysgol Tir Morfa.
Councillor Eryl Williams, Cabinet Lead Member for Education said “It is great to see how the building works are coming along and that the new school will soon be a reality. It is pleasing to see the new school begin to take shape and share the excitement of pupils and teachers as they begin to visualise where they will be based this time next year. I look forward to the school opening next year and seeing the state of the art facilities that will be provided.”
