Steel in Hospitals

Evadx Limited have carried out the fabrication and erection of the steelwork on Alder Hey Hospital, Oncology Unit in Liverpool for HBG Construction Limited. This two storey building weighs 250 tonnes. The Client for the project is the Alder Hey Rocking Horse Appeal Trust and is the UK’s first ever intergrated cancer unit for children.

The Eye Care Centre in Liverpool has also been fabricated and erected by EvadX Limited for Whitfield and Brown. The total weight of the building is 75 tonnes and to enable the steelwork to span over the existing building, the roof structure is made up of steel trusses.

EvadX Limited has just secured a 45 tonne structural steelwork package from Frank Galliers for the Shooting Stars Project at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
